INFORMATION
LOLITO CONCEPT
At Lolito Equipment, we design our gear around standard tools and components that filmmakers and photographers often already own. That’s why tools and keys are not included in our kits. We aim to keep packaging minimal and avoid unnecessary waste. Wherever possible, our packing materials are recycled and recyclable.
While we do our best to ensure everything is reliable, please understand that we can’t take responsibility for any damage to your gear resulting from the use of our products. Also note: cameras and other elements used in illustrations are not included.
Many of our components follow Arca-Swiss compatible dimensions, making them easy to integrate with your existing setup.
We believe in durable, sustainable design. Our elements are made from strong, reinforced PLA, with key parts like the duo pin and buckles crafted in robust POM. The rails are made from black anodized aluminum, and we also offer select components — such as hinges and connectors — in aluminum versions for added strength and durability.
This isn’t a plug-and-play kit — and that’s by design. When you buy a Lolito set, you commit to building and experimenting, adapting the system to suit your unique workflow. Over time, your setup will evolve — and so will your understanding of what’s possible.
With Lolito, we hope you’re not just using tools — but learning to invent your own solutions.
SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION
Lolito: A Project Rooted in Sustainability and Innovation
Lolito is not only a practical toolkit for agile and ethical audiovisual storytelling — it is also a forward-looking initiative that embraces sustainability and technological adaptability at its core.
The project actively promotes the reuse and repurposing of existing equipment, extending the lifespan of valuable tools that are too often discarded in the fast-paced media and technology industries. Rather than relying solely on new, high-cost gear, Lolito encourages a modular, flexible approach: building smart combinations of existing cameras, lenses, rigs, and accessories to meet today’s creative and documentary needs.
At the same time, Lolito is committed to continuous innovation. It evolves alongside emerging techniques in mobile journalism, human rights documentation, and lightweight filmmaking — ensuring that the tools remain relevant, accessible, and efficient in a wide range of field conditions.
Through this dual commitment to sustainability and innovation, Lolito offers more than just a film kit: it fosters a responsible, adaptable, and future-conscious approach to visual storytelling.
BACKGROUND
For over 30 years, we’ve made films. We started with Super 16mm and heavy equipment — and now work with small, compact cameras. Whether on the road or in conflict zones, we’ve never felt the need to impress people with gear. But we do care deeply about image quality.
Our dream was simple: travel with hand luggage only, so travelling, check in luggage and airport security would never be a concern. That’s how the Lolito project was born — Look Like a Tourist (work like a pro). It’s our nod to staying low-key while staying fully equipped — blending in when needed, but never compromising on quality or results.
Every product we offer was originally developed to solve challenges we faced on set — tools created out of passion and necessity. After years of refining and testing them in real-world conditions, we’ve made them available to others.
Each piece of equipment is produced with care and designed with the maker in mind. Built to support a workflow that’s fast, lightweight, and low profile — so you can focus entirely on the content you want to create.
We don’t see Lolito Equipment as a typical company when it comes to sales or support. We believe in a personal, collaborative approach — and we hope that the filmmakers and photographers who use our gear feel the same way. We’re not here to push products; we’re here to share solutions that have worked for us.
That said, we’re always happy to help. If you have questions, ideas, or run into issues, we’ll respond as quickly as we can and work with you to find the best way forward. Lolito Equipment is still a project in development, and we truly welcome your feedback, suggestions, and requests.
We’re also open to collaboration — don’t hesitate to reach out.
By buying our products, you support the work we do at True Heroes Films — and that means a lot to us.
